Authentic Relating is a relational practice that offers skills and tools to create enriching and nourishing relationships across all social domains of life. It allows people to explore the extraordinary landscape of human connection in a supportive and safe environment*. It is also a practice of deep self-awareness.
Authenticity is about being real, honest, revealed, and transparent, allowing others to truly see, hear, and understand our inner world. Relating means recognising that there is someone else on the other side of the relational field, having an experience as rich and complex as our own. (Authentic Relating by Ryel Kestano).
We organise authentic experiences to promote deeper connections with ourselves and others, encouraging meaningful interactions that go beyond surface-level communication. These experiences offer opportunities to explore the inner landscape, sit with discomfort when it arises, and practise self-regulation. Participants can also delve into vulnerability, improve personal boundaries, receive feedback from others, build trust, and cultivate emotional awareness, compassion, presence, curiosity, and empathy.
By engaging in authentic relating, participants gain insights into their patterns of connecting with others, enhance communication skills, and strengthen their ability to navigate relationships with greater openness, honesty, and understanding. Ultimately, authentic relating nurtures meaningful relationships, deepens self-awareness, and supports personal growth in a safe and respectful environment.

Our Commitment to Your Privacy
In a world that constantly exposes our intimate spaces, we have made the conscious decision to go pic- and video-free. We will not take videos or share pictures of you.
Your privacy and comfort are our top priorities, and we believe in creating a genuine environment for all.
All our games and activities have a focus on stimulating genuine conversation. Word prompts, simple questions, or group games are always fun, but what makes us stand out is that all themes are set by the participants during the day. We set the structure, and our community brings it to life!
The only thing to bring is the willingness to be open and vulnerable. We understand this can be challenging, but this is the skill we want to cultivate more than anything.
Every class has its unique appeal, as no session is predetermined. There is a randomness to what we all connect with and that is what our community loves. No two conversations are the same.
Absolutely! Our event is designed to be inclusive and welcoming to people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences. We aim to create a safe space where everyone feels respected, valued, and free to express themselves authentically.
Group activities can be both beneficial and challenging for people with social anxiety. The suitability largely depends on the structure of the group, the nature of activities, and the individual's level of social anxiety.
We encourage participants to take care of their physical and emotional needs first, allowing them to sit out of any activity if necessary and to change their minds at any time. You are fully in control of your participation, and by respecting your own boundaries, you create more freedom for yourself and others to engage authentically.
Our activities are designed to gently explore the edges of discomfort in a safe, supportive environment. This experience is designed to help participants lean into vulnerability at their own pace, but there's no pressure to push beyond what feels right for you. Staying present and aware of your sensations and emotions is key, and you are encouraged to listen to yourself throughout the activities.
AR has a natural ability to be therapeutic; sometimes, hearing the right thing from the right person at the right time is all we need in life. We like to foster this principal and hold the space for this to happen.
We offer a space where everyone can feel confident they won’t face discrimination, criticism, harassment, or harm, and will be treated with respect and warmth. Here, you can share your feelings openly and be vulnerable without fear of judgment or blame. Differences of opinion are valued and accepted, with everyone taking responsibility for their actions.
Please note that a safe space doesn’t mean being free from challenges. Our event is designed to gently stretch the boundaries of discomfort, encouraging the exploration of emotions we often avoid. This process supports the development of self-regulation tools. You are always in control of your emotional capacity and can choose when to delve deeper or take a break.
We practice "Confidentiality by Request." If you share something and wish for it to remain private, you can ask for confidentiality from those you've shared it with. This approach empowers you to request the level of privacy you need, fostering a respectful and supportive environment.
Benefits:
Exposure to Social Situations: Group activities can provide controlled exposure to social interactions, for reducing social anxiety. It helps participants gradually face their fears in a supportive environment.
Shared Experience: Being in a group with others who may have similar challenges can help individuals feel less isolated. This can foster a sense of belonging and understanding, which is important in reducing feelings of shame or self-criticism.
Increased Confidence: Successfully participating in group settings can boost self-esteem and help individuals feel more confident in their ability to navigate social situations.
Peer Support: Group activities offer a chance to give and receive support from peers, which can be empowering and emotionally validating.
Risks:
Overwhelming Anxiety: For some individuals with severe social anxiety, the group setting may be overwhelming, leading to heightened anxiety or panic attacks.
Avoidance of Participation: Those with social anxiety may find it difficult to engage in activities or may avoid them altogether, potentially reinforcing their anxiety.
Pressure to Perform: Some people may feel pressured to participate in group activities, which could lead to feelings of failure or embarrassment if they struggle to keep up.
Triggering Situations: Group settings can unintentionally trigger past negative experiences or social fears.
